What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher / Route Manager position at Via Courier?
Via Courier is a family-owned delivery company in Kansas City, KS serving the Midwest since 1978. Our team works together in an office/warehouse setting to ensure smooth communication between our customers and contract drivers. We are looking to add a new team member with solid communication and clerical skills. We are open to making the position part time or full time. Responsibilities
- Dispatch stats and routes to contracted drivers in a timely manner.
- Provide friendly customer service while setting up orders, answering questions, and problem solving.
- Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, information management, etc.
- Answer phones on some weeknights, weekends and holidays.
- Back up routes as needed.
- Complete additional tasks in support of operations as needed, such as learning to use new equipment/technology.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
