What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Viant?
The HR Administrative Assistant works with the Human Resources Manager to administratively support our Indianapolis manufacturing site. The HR Assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities across the HR function. This is an onsite role at our Indianapolis Manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
Support recruiting process and applicant tracking systems; coordinate interview schedules; update position descriptions; prepare offer letters; coordinate pre-employment screening.
Facilitate new hire orientation, benefits open enrollment sessions, or other employee informational meetings.
Assist in coordinating company-wide communication plans for benefits open enrollment, objectives setting, performance reviews, merit increases, bonus or other incentive compensation plans, training programs, and other organizational announcements
Respond to day-to-day issues that require human resources intervention, evaluation, or processing.
Depending on the level of systems access provided, ensure that all company representatives are engaged appropriately.
Handle some employee inquiries
Process all new hires, terminations and status changes accurately and efficiently
Administer communication programs and company-sponsored events
Maintain employee, training, recruitment, benefit/medical, I-9 and other files
Coordinate and attend facility, department or team meetings as identified;
Minimum Experience:
1-3 years related work experience;
1-2 years of administrative experiences
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication
