Job Description:
Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
General Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Knowledgeable in all areas of the kitchen and to fill in where needed.
- Knowledgeable in classic and modern cooking methods and techniques.
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for their station, and to be ready for service in a promptly manner.
- Comply with and enforces all safety and health department procedures as well as Delfina and/or departmental policies/procedures. Comply with all state and federal laws.
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English language with ability to print legibly and/or in the primary language of the property

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift.
- Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
Qualification Standards:
Education: High school or equivalent education preferred.
Experience: 2 to 3 years previous experience as a cook in a hotel.
Licenses or Certificates: Food Handler Certification preferred
Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
The expected pay range for this position is $22.82 - $26.85 after 90 days.
