Job Description
Overall Solution Architect. Drive an application and infrastructure transformation from mainframe to Azure cloud environment in an agile environment
- Work with development teams to provide estimates on tasks with complete timeline of project delivery.
- Engage with senior management to develop technology strategy and drive implementation of the architecture roadmap.
- Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit, and integration testing.
- Understand desired business outcomes desired by customer and translate these to requirements for the solution and recommend potential options.
- Own the overall solution and ensure all components of a solution fit well, function and perform as expected, including availability, performance, and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience,
- 10 years of development experience,
- 2 years of architect level experience
- Experience building cloud environments on Azure
- Familiarity with Azure administration, Azure development or DevOps
- Expertise with Python, C
- Expertise with Azure Kubernetes
