What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Administrator position at Vicor Corporation?

The Salesforce Administrator will be a critical role as part of the implementation of SFDC. This position is an exciting fast-paced career opportunity at Vicor working with the Worldwide team as we launch the new CRM platform. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives to quickly identify areas of improvement.

The role is responsible for support, and continual improvement and enhancement of the Salesforce platform by designing scalable and best practice solutions.

  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
  • Sandbox environment management
  • Ownership of quote-to-cash process in Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ, from Opportunity generation to Closed Won, and the quoting process in between.
  • Support and understand the goals of stakeholders in Sales Organization; scope, prioritize and configure Salesforce processes to meet their requests
  • Effectively manage the changes related to business process, people and technology in Salesforce
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Oversee data quality of the system and set the testing criteria for releases
  • Keep up to date with Salesforce releases; features and best practices. Make recommendations to management regarding implementation as appropriate
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions
  • Onboarding new users and continued training as needed
  • 24/7 ownership and resolution of Salesforce system issues and outages
  • Monitor and resolve user support tickets

Qualifications:

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge with minimum 3 years of SFDC Administration experience in configuring Salesforce CPQ and Advanced Approval
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • SFDC Manufacturing Cloud Certified preferred
  • Experience in Salesforce process automation, including process builder and flow is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Able to work independently to solve problems and attracted to fast, uncertain environment where adaptability is essential to success.
  • Ability to juggle multiple commitments and deliverables at once while keeping to deadlines.
  • Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and maintain good working relationships.
  • Able to help translate customer requirements into SFDC configuration
  • Experienced and comfortable with change management and governance.
  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
