Under the direct supervision of the Senior Human Resources Operations Coordinator, the Human Resources Operations Coordinator is responsible for performing daily Human Resources Operations functions.
Essential Functions:
- Submits workers compensation cases and tracks the status to ensure accurate reporting of injuries; aids in assembling and preparing relevant material for workers' compensation reviews.
- Submits Leave of Absences cases and tracks the status of cases and notifications to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Assists in the coordination of revised and updated Agency wide policies, procedures, handbooks, compliance plan and other pertinent documents. Supports the distribution of Agency wide documents and assists in posting all applicable documents on SharePoint.
- Assists in the coordination and collection of data related to the Weekly Risk Management Reports and the Weekly Critical Incident Reports.
- Assists in the workers’ compensation process for each program and acts as a backup to the Senior HR Operations for reporting injuries to the third-party administrators.
- Reports COVID-19 (infectious diseases) positive cases for each program and acts as a backup to the Senior HR Operations Coordinator for reporting cases to the third-party administrators and the CEO.
- Assists in the coordination of the Administrative Safety Committee team and is a permanent member.
- Assists Senior HR Operations Coordinator in ensuring compliance with all licensing, public laws, accreditation standards and regulations through coordination of publications procedures.
- Attends Workers Compensation and Risk Management quarterly meetings of Agency wide teams as necessary and compiles minutes as necessary.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have high school or general education degree plus four years office experience.
- Must possess a valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance and driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency’s Personnel Policy: Motor Vehicle Operating
- Standards. Must be physically and mentally fit in accordance with the Agency’s Personnel Policy: Physical Fitness Standards and Examinations. Must be willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) test, drug screening test and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination(s) and booster(s) if eligible.
- Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California.
Hourly Range: $22.00 - $24.04
