SUMMARY
The Student Life Director at Victory College is responsible for overseeing and leading the student life program, including all campus life activities. This role involves planning, coordination, and execution of various student life events, fostering a vibrant and engaging campus environment. The director will also provide leadership to student life leaders and support broader campus and church activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and lead a group of approximately 20 student life leaders.
- Organize 4-5 student life events per semester, including worship nights, skate nights, food outings, themed parties, etc.
- Plan and lead student intramural sports events.
- Oversee the daily life and activities within the campus lobby.
- Serve as a key “team player” in assisting with major Victory College and Victory Church events such as College Day, 24 Hour Prayer & Worship, Registration and Orientation, worship workshops, special chapels, and graduation ceremonies.
- Potentially serve in a chaplain role to the students and help oversee the student chaplain program.
- Continue growing and building the culture of community on campus, including in Student Housing.
- Assist in general recruitment, including high school campus visits and other outreach efforts.
- Possibly lead Fall and Spring Break travel teams for student missions and outreach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute events effectively.
- Experience in student life or event management is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
