What are the responsibilities and job description for the MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSER position at Victory Mortgage?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the closing of mortgage transactions, which includes reviewing and ensuring documentation is accurately executed.
Provides administrative support to the Mortgage Loan Officers and Mortgage Loan Officer Assistants.
Provides exceptional customer service by conducting business with integrity and in a highly ethical manner.
Ensures all aspects of the closing process are followed, including scheduling closings, verifying funds that have been received, preparing closing packages, and gathering the required checks.
Closes the loans according to the specific closing instructions, and by finalizing the closing packages to distribute.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have high attention to detail and process-oriented.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
Knowledge of the mortgage industry regulations, including Fair Credit Reporting Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Community Reinvestment Act, etc.
Willingness to work within a team environment but also can work independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
