Position Summary
Vidant Health owns and operates three wellness centers in eastern NC serving Vidant team members, community and patients with high quality medical fitness facilities, memberships, personal training and wellness programs.
The Wellness Center Director position's general responsibility is to provide strategic and operational oversight of the Wellness Center located in Greenville, NC. Oversight includes leadership of center strategies, programs, staff, operations, customer service and sales, financial and other key performance indicators. The Director will drive and be accountable for the success of the Center’s member experience, growth and retention; programs and services; team member experience and performance; and revenue and expense targets.
Minimum Requirements
4 year degree plus Master's degree required. Allied Health Sciences, M.B.A, or other related major.
5 years or more experience required: Hospital based Wellness Center, Community or Corporate fitness facility directorship experience. Business operations, marketing, budgetary and financial oversight experience.
Leadership and management training, budget development and financial analysis training required.
An additional two years of specific industry related management experience (as described above) may be substituted for a Masters degree. A Bachelors degree in Allied Health Sciences field or Business/Healthcare Administration is the minimum requirement.
