Position Summary
The Insurance Manager is an integral part of the Revenue Cycle at Vidant Health. The position works within the Central Business Office and with Revenue Cycle leadership to maximize cash flow and achieve days in accounts receivable targets for Vidant Hospitals and Surgicenter. The Insurance Manager must have a focus on the quality and efficiency of the Insurance Department to provide excellent service to Vidant entities and patients.
Minimum Requirements
College Degree (4 yrs)
Supervisory experience preferred
Healthcare Administration, Business or Health Information Management preferred
More than 5 years experience in Business Office of a Healthcare Provider, hospital experience preferred
