What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSR/Oxygen Specialist position at VieMed?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming Inogen/O2 calls
- Collect/Verify data accuracy for all referrals
- Verify eligibility and benefits with insurance companies
- Input patient information into Bonafide, Smartsheet and other databases
- Contact Physicians/Nurses/Case Workers to obtain needed information
- Contact patients as needed to complete assigned task
- Maintain and update patient records as needed
- Manage insurance issues and errors as they arise
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven work experience as an administrator or support agent
- Medical Insurance/ Medical Terminology background a plus
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent-required
- Bachelor’s-preferred
- Past or Current experience in the healthcare field-preferred
