Job Posting for Assistant Team Lead - Plastics Extrusion at Viking Plastics Operations

Full-time! Benefits eligible!

Visually and dimensionally Inspect pipe and package in accordance with proper procedures.

Duties:

  • Inspect pipe for visual defects
  • Verify correct dimensioning
  • Verify proper packaging
  • Assist with setting up, closing and moving lifts of pipe
  • Keep regrind pipe separate from good pipe
  • Start up and shut down pipelines, as required
  • Provide back-up support in Team Leader's absence

Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school education
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively
  • Plastic Extrusion Experience
  • ASTM Standards and Testing experience
  • Prefer leadership or supervisory experience
