What are the responsibilities and job description for the Semi Driver position at Village Travel?
Village Transport, a sister company of Village Travel, is a relatively new entrant into the trucking industry. Village Travel boasts a fleet of over 140 motor coaches across 7 locations in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. The new trucking division consists of 5 new Kenworth T680 tractors with 6 additional units on order. Primarily, our work is “drop and hook” of Amazon trailers out of Wichita, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Our drivers are given a lot of support by dispatch, and we understand the need to have time off at home. However, flexibility is still the key to success – our lanes of work are dependent on freight rates and driver availability. We can offer solo or team work.
