Project Manager, Support Operations
The Vimeo Customer Support team is looking for a Project Manager to help lead initiatives across our org. In this role, you will manage several projects across different teams within the Support Operations Organization that vary in size and complexity. You will focus on partnering with the Sr. Manager, Support Operations and assisting in an array of initiatives.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining the overall project framework and create and manage a project tracker with all major initiatives across the Global CS Organization. We are an ever changing organization and all projects should be approached with awareness of change management.
What you’ll do:
Manage/coordinate several projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Perform quality control throughout project development to maintain the standards expected
Ensure clear communication throughout the entire lifecycle of a project (think downstream impact)
Effectively communicate expected deliverables to all stakeholders
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Communicate with leadership on task owner accountability for individuals performance if applicable
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
Conducting a post-mortem evaluation and identifying the successful/unsuccessful project elements
Provide guidance and process recommendations to our customers (Global CS Team)
Gathering information by reviewing current business process
Identify internal opportunities and research the issues and recommend solutions
Work closely with Sr. Manager to achieve outcomes based on OKRs
Maintenance of documents for Global CS, which includes but is not limited to, rosters, email distributions, Slack channels, etc
Provides reference for peers by writing documentation; providing support and help
Support the quality and upkeep of the Intranet, All Hands, Global CS Calendar etc.
Maintain quality by enforcing organizational standards
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
Proven working experience in project management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Experience with project management software tools
Experience with change management practices
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Good interpersonal skills to work with different management levels
