We are seeking an energetic and experienced Inventory Manager to join our team! This position requires working in collaboration with the dispensary management team. The Cannabis Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory operations within a cannabis dispensary or related business. This role involves managing inventory strategy, compliance with cannabis regulations, and record-keeping. The Inventory Manager ensures accurate tracking, efficient storage, and timely restocking of cannabis products. This position will report directly to the General Manager. - Perform daily, monthly, and yearly inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Coordinate product orders based on projected needs.
- Maintain a diverse product selection.
- Implement and maintain an in-store product merchandising strategy.
- Maintain an organized vault or inventory storage space.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding cannabis inventory management.
- Keep accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Ensures product accuracy in POS and E-Commerce systems
- Assists with inventory procurement.
- Collaborate with compliance officers to address any discrepancies or issues.
- Train new employees on inventory procedures and compliance.
- Work closely with vendors to track deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and manage returns.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and product performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Implement security protocols to prevent theft or loss of inventory.
- My assist with store opening or store closing duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a bachelor’s degree).
- Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
- Knowledge of Dutchie, IheartJane, and Metrc is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to pass background check and drug test as required by law
- Weekend availability
