Commonwealth Center for Children & Adolescents (CCCA) is seeking a B&G Manager to insure proper operation of CCCA physical plant including physical structure, equipment, and services in compliance with required standards and regulations in order to provide services supportive of CCCA’s mission.
Successful applicant must have considerable knowledge of building/physical plant management. Considerable knowledge of administrative policies and regulations; and of applicable federal, state and agency policies. Demonstrated ability to direct a variety of administrative functions. To plan, review and evaluate administrative operations and resources; to analyze and interpret needs and to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Knowledge of energy management systems, blueprints, and proficient in the use of MS Office.

Responsibilities include:
- Develops operational policies and procedures covering all relevant aspects of operating and maintaining this facility.
- Conducts routine inspections of facility buildings and grounds to insure efficient operation and compliance with all applicable codes.
- Serves as on-site coordinator for all building or repair projects conducted by outside agencies and contractors.
- Maintains required documentation of operation of department.
- Responsible for knowing and interpreting state and federal codes and working with other members of leadership team to insure these standards are met.
- Provide documentation and support for procurement activities related to buildings and grounds operations
- Coordinate support service activities with Western State Hospital Buildings and Grounds Department.
- Coordinates all physical plant improvement activities with DBHDS A&E services, when appropriate.
- Works with other leadership team members to develop strategies to efficiently use building structures and equipment to meet the needs of CCCA patients and employees.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with Joint Commission standards and other regulatory agencies including but not limited to DEQ, BCOM, etc.
- Maintain documentation as required and provide assistance to other staff as requested
- Serves as member of Center Environment Committee.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with course work in engineering, business, public administration or a related field.
- Experience and/or knowledge of buildings and grounds, maintenance, administrative support functions may substitute.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an above-mentioned field strongly preferred.
- Experience with Joint Commission standards is strongly preferred.
- Supervisory & Management experience strongly preferred.
