What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDI Developer position at Virtual Benefits Administrator?

What are we looking for?
The EDI Developer role is responsible for the successful integration and continued operation of all electronically transmitted data to or from our clients and their vendors. This includes Claim, Eligibility, Auth, Provider, and Tax integrations and Data Team project work as just a few of the critical categories the Data Team handles.

What are we looking for in this position?

  • 3 years of experience in an EDI/ETL Developer role
  • Strong experience writing and modifying SQL queries
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills 
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of colleagues and clients
  • Work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Confidence, tact, and a persuasive manner

What will you be doing?

  • Building and maintaining processes utilizing SQL to transform data into and out of client systems
  • Assisting with client escalations
  • Building strong relationship with our clients at all levels in the organization
  • Perform release activities 
  • Provide internal support as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
