DMPS High School Summer School Programming

DMPS is now hiring for our summer positions!  If you enjoy working with at-risk youth and teaching credit recovery in an alternative teaching and learning environment, come be part of this exciting summer program.  Only teachers with high school content endorsements will be considered.  

Positions Needed:

  • Core Content, Special Education and ELL Teachers 
  • Counselor 
 
Location: Virtual High School
Salary: Workshop pay for Certified staff

Staff Preparation Week: 10 hours the week of June 5 - 8

Summer Programming Schedule:  Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM 
Session 1: June 12 - June 29  (Meals Served)

Session 2: July 10 - July 27     (Meals Served)
 

Any teachers intending to join their Leadership Teams for Leadership Institute (date to be determined at a later date) are encouraged to find substitute coverage for those Summer School days missed.  Any licensed DMPS teacher can serve as a substitute for summer school.
