Overview

Ourclient is seeking Transport Drivers toensure the safe and efficient delivery of products to customers. Inthis role you will follow all federal and state transportation andsafety regulations making sure products arrive on time and in greatcondition.

This position is crucial for maintaining our clientshigh standards of safety compliance and customerservice.

Responsibilities

• Drivetractortrailer (tanker) combination applying knowledge ofcommercial driving regulations to transport and deliver asphaltproducts over short and long distances.
• Useand / or operate equipment including but not limited to : laddersloading arms control valves metal hoses landing gear air linescords and wheel pins.
• Maneuver truck intoloading and unloading position following signals from terminaloperators as needed.
• Drive truck to weighstation before and after product loading and along route todocument weight.
• Drive truck into position toload at filling rack.
• Open valves or startspumps to fill trailer.
• Read gauges or metersand records quantity loaded.
• Record amountdelivered and issues ticket tocustomer.
• Conform to Federal and State drivingregulations including driver logs.
• Inspecttruck before and after trips. Submits report indicating truckcondition.
• Read Bill of Lading to determineassignment.
• Responsible for refueling truckchecking oil and all fluids.
• Maintains truckinterior.

Qualifications

• ValidClass A Commercial Driver s License with Tankerendorsement.
• 23 years of Class A CDL drivingexperience.
• Excellent drivingrecord.
• Able to understand weigh scales andbasic measurements.
• High school diploma / GEDpreferred but notrequired.
