Description
Virtucom is actively looking for a qualified warehouse lead to perform services according to standard warehouse protocols such as receiving of inventory, dispatching of inventory, warehouse maintenance, fleet assistance, cart building, etc. in addition to maintaining and operating an organized working space. The most ideal candidate for this position will thrive in a high-volume and fast-paced work environment, be able to communicate effectively and possess strong leadership abilities and soft skills. They will be a self-starter, able to adapt and prioritize in a rapidly growing and changing environment, and responsible for all aspects of the warehouse, including the training and development of Warehouse Associates.
Duties:
Develop and adopt procedures and make suggestions regarding procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate more safe and efficient work.
- Maintain inventory records to ensure deployment/services crews have material to meet their daily goals.
- Provide employees with the necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction.
- Coordination with Depot leadership/administrative staff on inventory/products/deployments/etc.
- Complete all required safety training, follow safety policies, and demonstrate proper safety protocols at all times.
- Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
- Unboxing, packing, trash duties, cardboard compacting, creation of boxes, etc.
- Prepare products for shipment to include packaging, strapping, and wrapping for safe shipping
- Keep warehouse areas clean and organized daily (i.e. product in the correct location, free of trash, etc.)
- Receiving of goods, following receiving process, create RMA request(s) as needed
- Maintain, analyze, and inventory of the items found in the warehouse.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Keep work areas clean and organized daily (i.e. product in the correct location, free of trash, etc.)
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Ability to write/maintain/update SOP Guidelines.
Requirements

- Forklift Certification
- Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift or move heavy product
- Basic knowledge of computers and networking.
- Strong knowledge of MS Windows operating systems/Chrome OS/Google Suite of applications.
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.
- Document all service requests as per company guidelines.
- Knowledge of commonly-used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures.
