VirtuOx, located in South Florida, is a leading digital health platform providing web-based diagnostic tools and services enabling a variety of healthcare organizations and professionals to diagnose and evaluate treatment options for sleep disorders, respiratory diseases and cardiac arrhythmias, among others.
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee the company's day to day financial operations and manage a team of five professionals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation, in accordance with US GAAP, of the month end financial statements, month end management reports, reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, and selected P&L.
- Detailed preparation for each line of business of gross profit and gross margin.
- Preparation of weekly 13-week cash flow forecast and variance analysis.
- Assist the CFO and Executive management with the company’s continuous focus in driving efficiencies in all operating departments.
- Coordinate and manage the annual financial statement audits.
- Provide training, coaching, and monitoring to improve and develop the performance of the Finance team.
- Assist the CFO and Executive management with annual budgets and forecasts exercises.
- Assist the CFO and Executive management with ad hoc reports as needed.
- Communicate with and assist regularly other department heads and employees.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Experience:
8 to 10 years of overall experience as a Controller in a fast paced, ever changing business, directly overseeing the Finance function.
Experience with integration of acquisitions and execution of due diligence.
Knowledge and experience with billing to and collections from health care insurance payors, a plus.
Exceptional fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to work with large data sets, to extract critical information. Fluent ability to use VLOOKUP and CONCATENATE excel formulas.
US GAAP knowledge required; CPA preferred
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
