Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description:

• This position will provide program facilitation and oversight for the Customer Delivery Vegetation Management (CDVM) team in regard to the Hazard Tree Program which includes Hurricane Hardening, Substation Optimization Level II Patrols, and all off circuit reliability driven Hazard Tree work.
• This position will collaborate with all Vegetation Management Program Managers and associated Suppliers to ensure vegetation work is completed on time and within budget meeting Public Service Commission mandates and construction in service dates.
• The Project Manager will also work in conjunction with Transmission Vegetation Management to identify and mitigate overlapping initiatives.
• This role will be vital to the success of our customer service initiatives along with meeting our Hazard Tree Program commitments.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

• Develop & Oversee Project Deliverables
• Date Management
• Tracks and monitors vendor results against financial and business targets
• Reviews and approves vendor invoices
• Makes on-site visits with clients to review for compliance and address process issues
• Manage cross-functional relationships
• Communicate Vegetation Management processes across multiple departments and stakeholders
• Prepares departmental reports on project status
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Time management and personal organization skills

• Apply advanced knowledge and problem solving skills to wide-ranging issues.

Education:

• 10-12 years of VM or Utility experience working in distribution and/or transmission in lieu of a degree.
• 5-7 Years of VM or Utility Experience in addition to a B.S. 7-10 Years of VM or Utility Experience in addition to an A.S.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Up to $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• distribution or transmission or substations: 5 years (Required)
• Hazard management: 5 years (Preferred)
• vegetation or tree management: 5 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
