Job Description

Visa is looking for an accomplished Director Product Solutions Architect with a passion for innovating and shaping the next generation of payment products.
You will be responsible working with regional product, sales teams, technology partners and clients to enable Visa’s Buy Now Pay Later solution at scale. Define solutions that leverage Visa’s assets and challenge status quo where needed so that the solutions solve for our client needs and serve delightful consumer experience on BNPL use cases for our global markets.
Responsibilities :
· Be a leader, though partner, and an integral part of a high performing product team.
· Develop deep understanding of Visa’s BNPL solutions and the broader product suite
· Drive client solutions and services that leverage assets in our ecosystem based on customer insights and a strong understanding of the future of global payments. Create innovative, customer driven Solution Proposals and Solution Designs utilizing VISA’s suite of products and partners to enable unique client needs.
· Lead technical solution discovery with clients requiring custom solutions
· Identify any product/functionality gaps required to deliver a solution and collaborate with internal product and technology teams as well as external partners to drive client solution definition and delivery
· Become a recognized technical expert with the internal product set and in identifying potential solutions for new customer relationships
· Work closely with internal teams including compliance, privacy, risk, information security, support, and operations to ensure all aspects of a proposal are addressed
· Educate the clients to implement optimal integration strategies, techniques, and user experience best practices
· Develop Solution Designs and Solution Design templates that can be used for future integrations with enterprise merchants by other Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers, and Integration Engineers
· Balance technical and commercial acumen, and communicate solution feasibility that drive the biggest impact on the business and value to the customers
· Understand evolving needs and challenges of clients including issuers, acquirers, and merchants, and ensure products are tailored to meet those needs
· Keep abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape in the payment space
Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Keen eye for optimal designs and consumer experiences including experience building commerce platforms
• Highly skilled at applying consultative methodologies and techniques to influence solution design and solve integration pain points.
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder at the C-level with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
• As a Director Product Solutions Architect, you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical/functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
• Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding VISA presentations and demonstrations. Leads all aspects of the technical sales process.
• Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization.
• Deep background in payments, BNPL payments, and custom solution engineering with a proven record of scaling products a plus

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
