Job Description
We are seeking a graduate-level intern to join our Technology Project and Business Management team. This team ensures high quality deliverables, consistent project/program/business management processes, governance and coordination. Additionally, the team drives agility and performance efficiencies by managing processes including portfolio, budget, workforce, and communications management. As an intern, you will work closely with members of Product Management, UI/UX, Product Development, QA, Release Management, Implementation Management, and Operations teams, as well as with all levels of management within the organization.
Some job duties and summer projects could include:
- Support agile teams on one or more product development projects as a scrum master
- Assist project teams with determination of technical, operational, business, and/or product requirements
- Assist the Project and Program Managers in maintaining records of projects and programs financials, issues, risks, decisions, and schedules
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project stakeholders
- Develop, track, and report key business metrics
- Utilize Visa financial tools to support resource and activity planning
The internship also comes with social and professional networking events and developmental workshops, designed to provide you the resources and training to have an impactful summer. You will get to work on one or several hands-on projects with the team.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Business Management, CIS/MIS or a related field, graduating December 2023 or later
- Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge of Project and Release Management principles include Agile methodologies
- Project Management experience (inclusive of internships) with software development projects a plus
- Excellent time management, communication, presentation and organization skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, MS Teams), SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, Wiki or similar tools/technologies
- The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
- Strong ability to collaborate
- Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented
- Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity
