Job Description
Visa is seeking an organized and experienced Project Coordinator with an exceptional ability to keep the crazy in check and all agency projects humming along. The ideal candidate is a team player, problem solver, and a bit Type A. And of course, able to appreciate a chill environment. The role will sit in Visa’s Cybersource division, a global payments management platform.
The Project Coordinator role will support global marketing efforts by assisting the traffic manager with workflow coordination, including project schedules, deliverable status, and communicating deadlines with stakeholders.
You will support the monitoring of comprehensive project plans and existing processes for briefs, concepting, reviews, approvals, and campaign delivery. Many projects will have a short life cycle, so being able to work well under tight deadlines and juggle shifting priorities are a must.
This role will support all marketing divisions (product marketing, field marketing, partner marketing, strategic communications, marketing operations, and the team it sits on, brand & digital). You will roll up your sleeves and get right to work to ensure that all deliverable work is organized, on-time, and delivered to spec. It will not be boring, we promise. You’ll be able to make a direct impact rather than being just another cog in the wheel.
This role will report to Brand and Ad Manager for Cybersource and will sit in Austin, TX. Consideration will be made for working out of the Lehi, UT office. No fully remote workers.

- Support project management across different agency outputs, from creative to paid media.
- Understand the inter-connectedness of all functions and geographies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Update project tracker and communicate/distribute hot list so projects remain on track and workloads can be easily assessed and effectively managed.
- Support the creation of new solutions to drive better outcomes. We embrace a trial and learn approach, and we have fun with it.
- This role supports a global team in the EMEA, AP, LAC, and NA markets.
Qualities of a successful candidate
- A no-task-too small “doer” with a passion for driving pixel-level execution and uncovering opportunities to improve processes.
- Highly organized and can effectively manage changing asks and balance multiple projects.
- Solves problems with keen instincts and organizational experience while looking for ways to improve efficiencies and implement processes that deliver on results.
- Self-motivated, self-managed, and thrives on getting stuff done—on time, on budget, all while engaging in productive communication with team members and stakeholders.
- A positive individual and a team player.
- Comfortable with ambiguity.
