Job Description
The Ecosystem Readiness group within Client Direct organization works with internal stakeholders to enable faster decision-making, data democratization and self-service through building innovative, scalable best-in-class dashboard and reporting solutions. Our goal is to empower and enable business partners to glean valuable insights from Client's unique global data assets.
We are looking for a Solutions Manager who is comfortable engaging with business owners, data enthusiasts and technology teams alike and has strong experience in translating business needs into measurable outcomes. This analyst will be expected to be hands-on, focused on using data to drive business decisions and is passionate about building effective and engaging visualizations to support global Client Direct product enablement initiative. The analyst is expected to possess strong collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects and engagements to completion.
Responsibilities
• Support Client Direct product enablement and readiness monitoring:
- Work in close coordination with the Client Direct product office, Client Services, and BI Solutions colleagues to integrate various data sources into effective Tableau Server data sets
- Develop insights-oriented data visualizations
- Develop new dashboard solutions as requested for Client Direct product office
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data management or BI development. Demonstrated aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results. Ability to work closely with other team members and key stakeholders in technology, product, and the rest of the business.
Qualifications
• 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 3 year of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as statistics, operations research, economics, computer science, etc
• At least 5 years of experience in data management or BI development
Demonstrated development experience in Tableau including:
• In depth knowledge of interactive data visualization best practices
• Experience leading design discovery meetings with end-users
• Incorporate diverse use cases into cohesive design prototypes
• Knowledgeable of Tableau development capabilities including advanced functionality (e.g. level of detail, sets, parameter actions, etc.)
• Demonstrated aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
• Exposure and prior work with MS PowerApps including form setup and connection to various database structures
• 2 years of work experience in data-based decision-making or quantitative analysis
• Familiarity with extracting and aggregating data from large data sets using SQL
• Ability to work closely with other team members and key stakeholders in technology, product and the rest of the business
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and PowerApps
This position is open to locations in San Francisco, CA and Foster City, CA.
Flex Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
