Visa has the world’s largest consumer payment transaction data set. We see data on over 100 billion transactions per year from all over the world. We are on an exciting journey to build products using that rich data to help our clients expand access to credit in regions with low credit penetration. We have come a long way in that journey and are hard at work to commercialize our products into solutions that solve our clients’ problems.
We are looking for a Product Manager who has managed all facets of bringing new products to life – particularly in running pilots / proof of concepts.
More specifically, the Product Manager will -
- Convert product pilot design intent from paper into a detailed action plan
- Run the day-to-day development – track progress, identify breakdowns, quickly problem solve, manage client/customer escalations, and communicate with stakeholders
- Work with clients and internal development teams to fix issues that arise during ideation and development
- Conduct data analysis to support the pilots such as gathering and synthesizing data to measure success or failure of the pilots
- Work with marketing teams to develop collateral that communicates the value of the solutions to clients and helps them get started
- Work with potential partners to evaluate their capabilities, define use cases, commercial constructs and contributing to investment decisions

Position Locations -
This position is open to the following locations - San Francisco, CA, Foster City, CA or Arlington, VA.
Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD or a history of delivering results that blow us away
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 years’ experience in managing day-to-day activities of prototype products
- Experience in financial services /fintechs
- Given we are building data products, having strong analytical problem solving skills – similar to how consultants and analysts use data to make decisions – will set you up for success
- Strong consultative and communication skills to establish relationships across a global organization
