We are presently looking for an Immigration Attorney who wants to experience professional development in a flexible, friendly and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will need to have a solid understanding of business immigration and a healthy amount of resourcefulness and personal accountability. The Immigration Attorney will report to a Senior Immigration Attorney and is responsible for managing caseloads, client relations and interaction, and will collaborate with our Immigration Team including attorneys and case managers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all aspects of business immigration.
Prepare and submit legal documents and applications for a variety of immigration cases.
Guide and correspond with the client and employees through the intake process, enlisting client services as needed.
Prepare clients in completing the questionnaires and submitting documents.
Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments.
Represent clients at government interviews.
Maintain a high-level of communication with all clients.
Establish and maintain case work quality and consistency throughout the organization.
Liaise with other attorneys in the firm and share all information regarding case preparation.
Participate in other projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
J.D. degree and must have passed a state bar examination.
Experience with employment-based VISA work (H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, etc…)
Enthusiasm for working well with diverse clients, communities, and colleagues, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must have excellent English writing and oral communication skills.
Secondary language skills are a plus.
Excellent organization and computer skills required.
