Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – East Windsor, CT is currently seeking applicants for a Material Handler 3 1st Shift. Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.
Job Location:
Vishay Dale Electronics, East Windsor, CT is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 40 employees currently working in East Windsor.
What you will be doing:
- Understands all processes and specification within the department and reports to Supervisor any discrepancies in line specifications.
- Schedules delivery to all locations via phone or email and pulls, packages, loads and delivers raw materials etc. Receives raw materials, spare parts, etc. from various outside vendors and distributes said materials to the proper department within Vishay.
- Receives orders from Mexico, Israel and other Vishay locations via Inventory Control personnel. Pulls, packages, prepares necessary paperwork and sends the same material via various trucking carriers.
- Computers are used constantly for location, inventory level and maintaining accuracy of raw materials available. Knowledge of the Dale SAP System is mandatory.
- Picks up a significant amount of recycling materials daily and prepares the same for pickup by reclaim companies.
- Performs tasks assigned by the Supervisor that are unique to a specific situation. (Examples may be setting up pallet racking, reorganization of facility, preparing for auctions, inventory checks, housekeeping, etc
What you will bring along:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Inventory Control experience is preferred.
