- Vision IT seeks the services of a Senior Web Developer, with an understanding of several FBI Strategic Information & Operations Center (SIOC) web applications. Utilizes experience with various applications to provide onsite development, support, and administration to several SIOC web applications. Provide technical consultation and serves as technical liaison for the SIOC with FBI divisions, DOJ, and Dept. of Homeland Security. This includes but not limited to using, learning and implementing various software and languages: MS Windows and MS Office product series; MS SharePoint FBI web-based SIOC Operational Logs including, Specialized Common Operating Picture (Remora), SIOC Room Scheduler, SharePoint Operational Logs, Special Events Management Logs, and Task Force Operations Logs, Government Cloud Services and Geospatial Products; Active Directory, IBM Big Fix, Solar Winds (Network Performance Monitor Patch Manager), WSUS/MS SCCM; Structured Query Language (SQL) databases to display the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Program to the ORACLE platform. Delivers strategic operational support to FBIHQ divisions; provides ad hoc application development, server administration, and desktop support. Assist with duties as the Information Systems Security Officer; ensures SIOC meets and exceeds FISMA standards to remain operational. Responsible for supporting and managing key FISMA duties for SIOC, development and implementation of plans like; Systems Security Plan, Contingency Plan, Incident Response Plan, and Security Controls Assessments. Manages and maintains numerous classified web-based applications, including the SIOC Watch log, resulting in secure dissemination of intelligence and information to multiple users. Collaborate in planning and consolidating implementation of numerous upgrades of hardware and software for the FBI and SIOC.
Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Manages, develops, and plans migration of information systems from a 65-workstation facility to over 800 workstations on multiple enclaves using Windows 10 or newest operational systems.
- Responsible for the implementation and management of the Windows Server 2012/19, Active Directory infrastructure and security policies, management of various COTS/GOTS applications, and implementation and management of over 15 critical operations servers.
- Responsible for establishing software development procedures and processes to include building, testing, and installing developed software.
- Responsible for establishing systems to support software development to include a code repository and issue tracking system.
- Collects data out of automated systems and produces Configuration Requests for application engineers and programmers to utilize in the development of solutions to software integration.
- Establish "Best Practices" for software development projects utilizing estimation and application sizing methodologies.
- Minimize downtime in high output environments preventing the potential loss of vital intelligence.
- Collects business requirements, provides written technical solutions to address their needs,
- Develops product features and enhancements that include workflow design, application auditing, automated word document creation, Index Server searches, spell checking, and interface enhancements.
Required Clearance, Experience, and Skills:
- Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI access
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Five (5) years of Project Management and team leadership experience
- Eight (8) years of functional/technical professional experience
Desired Education:
- BS/BA degree in computer science, business, or a related field
