Position Purpose/Summary:  The Systems Operations Analyst is responsible for applying core financial systems updates to include AIX, Episys, and FICS system releases.  Assists the IT Operations Manager with special projects as needed.  In addition, the Systems Operations Analyst role is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all technical processing on Episys, FICS and other core financial systems and that process standards are maintained and data integrity is preserved.  Consults directly with the IT Operations Manager to resolve quality, production and data accuracy issues in a timely fashion, and functions as a primary information resource to other staff when special and/or critical quality issues occur.  Assists as necessary in developing remedies to process anomalies as directed by IT management and ensures that corrective procedures are in place.

This position would minimally require a high school degree with an associate degree in Information Systems Operations/Computer Science preferred.  Must have at least three (3) years’ experience working within credit union or financial service industry in direct support of a core financial platform as a system operator, administrator, or similar.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  Due to the nature of this role in dealing with senior management and employees on an on-going basis, the position requires (and is not limited to):

2. Ability to adapt to a dynamic workload
3. Ability to use and/or learn variety of software as required for job/position
4. Familiarity with the operation of all major credit union products and services.
5. Positively communicate with diverse employee population while providing excellent customer service
6. Must have proficient operational knowledge of core financial systems such as Episys, FICS, imaging systems, and their base operating systems as well as program and user parameters; Should have a basic working knowledge of all computer operating systems used for Visions core financial systems including but not limited to IBM AIX and Microsoft Windows 7/10.
7. Advanced computer and math skills, adherence to confidentiality, detail-oriented

Compensation Range:  $23/hr. - $30/hr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*
