Optometrist – Tampa, FLOptimal Eyecare — Visionworks — 2001 E Fowler Ave, Tampa   Opportunity:  We’re seeking a full-time (40hrs) Florida state-licensed Optometrist who is growth-minded and compassionate about providing quality eye care. This candidate is a hard-working individual who is looking to help grow the practice year-over-year.   This opportunity is located in Tampa, and is near the beautiful beaches of Clearwater and St. Petersburg. We have amazing weather, and it’s just a short drive to Disney World & Universal!   About Us: Our practice is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We specialize in preventative eye exams, contact lenses, co-management of LASIK patients, and cataract post-ops. We utilize Optomap® technology with an 80% conversion rate. For everyday support, we offer two full-time technicians and use the Eyefinity EHR system on an iPad — with 24/7 support.     What You'll Do:  As part of our team, you'll practice full-time, providing eye care to patients of all ages, and visual/medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings, handle eye emergencies, and collaborate with staff members to help deliver our commitment to improving access to healthcare.   Our current practice goal of 12 patients a day with an 80% Optomap conversion. Our future goal is 15 patients a day with an 85% Optomap conversion. We offer daily bonuses.   Who We're Seeking: Florida optometry licensed optometrists with liability insurance. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, is dedicated to patient care, and has a strong desire to help grow the business. Candidates should have excellent clinical and people skills.
