In the role of a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for the operation of our X-ray equipment and ensuring patients that have Radiology needs are having a high-level, hospitality experience.
Location: Ventura
This position requires you to have your COVID vaccine and booster
Responsibilities
Specifically, your duties will include:
- Receiving and reviewing the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identifying the patient prior to conducting scans
- Performing x-rays on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and procedures
- Producing films of the X-ray and providing it to the requesting physician
- Ensuring images are legibly labeled with correct date and patient identification
- Monitoring the patient's well-being and recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action
- Assisting with front desk duties when needed
- Checking inventory, ensuring rooms have adequate supplies, restocking where needed
- Greeting members/patients ensuring they receive a high-level of customer service
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, required
- Current California State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required
- Must have at least 1 year of experience utilizing X-Ray technology
- Extraordinary organizational and project management skills; comfortable with EMR systems
- Urgent care experience, strong plus
