Visiting Angels of South Dayton is a locally owned and operated home care agency, that is part of a nationally recognized home care network. We are committed to providing the best in non medical care services to our senior clients, and others who need our assistance.
Home Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical home care and friendly companionship to seniors and disabled adults
- Hygiene Assistance with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation, diet monitoring, and medication reminders
- Complete light housekeeping, changing bedding, and help with laundry
- Perform mobility/transfer assistance
- Provide client with transportation to errands, appointments, and grocery shopping
Employment Requirements:
- Possess dedication and passion for serving seniors, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Cheerful personality and positive attitude, with the ability to work in a one-on-one care environment
- Able to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen
- Valid Driver’s License, with reliable car and current car insurance
- 2+ years of hands-on experience preferred, either in a private home or facility
- High school Diploma/GED
- Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience is a plus
Our office serves the greater Dayton area and the position may require travel to Centerville, Xenia, Fairborn, Kettering, Beavercreek, Springboro, Middletown, and other surrounding communities.
