What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Recruiter position at Visiting Docs?
Visiting Docs is an Article 28 health clinic with a family medicine practice in Rockland County, NY. Additionally, we service the residents of various assisted living facilities and continue to expand our primary care services throughout the state.
We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, detailed oriented candidate to join our growing practice. The Clinical Recruiter will be responsible for the full life cycle of the recruitment process: advertising, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, negotiating, hiring, and onboarding. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in recruiting clinical staff which includes but is not limited to physicians, mid-level providers, and nursing staff. The role will serve as the primary contact to all clinical candidates.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving as provider relations representative with clinical staff by addressing concerns and coordinating and strengthening communication efforts.
- Developing effective recruitment strategies/campaigns for recruitment of clinical providers for various locations.
- Partnering with leadership to design and implement strategies and methods to meet clinical recruitment needs of the organization currently and in the future.
- Demonstrating the ability to manage and lead recruitment efforts through successful multiple, simultaneous candidate searches.
- Developing and maintaining consistent pipeline activity for all clinical positions.
- Monitoring internal and external factors impacting attraction and retention; awareness of the national market.
- Managing search progress and ensuring all privileging and on-boarding processes are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience recruiting for clinical positions required.
- Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with different population from various backgrounds and education levels.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to keep candidates engaged during the recruitment process.
