Purpose of Position: Designs, implements and monitors talent acquisition and retention strategies for all entities in WVNSG, VNS and VNS At Home Responsibilities:
Leads all employee life cycle talent needs for WVNSG, VNSW and VNS At Home with support from the Human Resources Generalist.
Identifying open positions and posting all jobs internally and online
Designs and manages all talent campaigns to support strategic and operational goals for agencies, developing pipelines and accession opportunities to fill talent needs of the organization.
Consistently engages with potential candidates developing supportive relationships to foster continued interest in position opportunities leading to hire as possible.
Conducts thorough assessment of candidates working with hiring managers to finalize selection of best available candidate for open positions.
Understands and promotes employment brand participating in community events, job fairs, and networking opportunities designed to develop interest in future employment with agencies.
Leverages recruiting technology to source candidates and effectively communicate during on-boarding process. Initiates new hire file for hand off to Jr. Human Resource Generalist for completion and review.
Supports hiring manager in completing interviews, offers and on-boarding new members of their team.
Responsible for all New Hire Orientations and Onboarding
Conduct all background checks and reference checks and ensure all required pre-employment paperwork has been submitted
Maintain recruitment log and open requisitions
Prepare and send offer letters
Performs other related duties as required and ensures employee questions and issues are addressed.
Qualifications:
BS/BA required in human resources, business management, management or other related fields.
Minimum 2 years recruiting experience. (General HR background with Home healthcare experience a plus)
HR Generalist duties
Proven ability to engage in relationship building, provide strategic view points and coach leaders in the work place.
Technical abilities to leverage technology and quick learner on HRIS systems
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills- ADP Workforce Now a PLUS
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
