Maintenance Operations Control is the critical point of communication for various departments such as Maintenance Planning, Logistics, Engineering, and Operations, to ensure our aircraft are airworthy, and enable Vista to provide exceptional levels of service for our clients, through maximum fleet utilization.
We are recruiting for experienced maintenance engineers in Hamburg.
Our highly respected Maintenance Operations Controllers make calls on the serviceability and safety of aircraft. Working closing with the rest of Air Hamburg’s Operations Control Centre, you will take calls from pilots experiencing technical issues and will help them resolve issues using the training provided by Air Hamburg, and your previous maintenance experience.
Your Responsibilities
- AOG Support for Flight Crews
- Assessment of technical defects
- Observation and on-time planning of unscheduled maintenance
- Checking of aircraft flight logs
- Checking of aircraft utilization and initiation of maintenance downtimes via CAMP
- Request and control of quotes
- Preparation of work packs via CAMP
- Communication with MROs and with TC Holders as well as vendors
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Completed technical vocational training
- EASA Part-66 license desirable
- Recognized courses on the types operated are desirable
- Experience in continuing airworthiness or control
- Good written and spoken English knowledge
- Holding a valid driver's license is an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts
