Responsible for all site human resources (HR) activities including benefits, associate growth and development, associate relations and staffing, and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) compliance. Interacts with all associates, PFG corporate office, PFG subsidiaries, and governmental and private agencies. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Assist managers in staffing all vacancies. Ensure all administrative items are completed according to established guidelines ( i.e., I-9 forms and employment applications).

Assist in the training of management in the application of policies and procedures. Assess training needs within the company and
coordinate delivery of appropriate information (i.e., computer skills, management skills, etc.) - Function as an associate advocate by representing associates’ issues to management as appropriate. Work with the management team in resolving associate issues by investigating concerns and sharing resolution alternatives.

Assist in developing and maintaining company policies and procedures to include effective communications to associates.
Advise management of fair and consistent application of all approved policies and procedures. - Ensure benefits are explained to new associates and their enrollment is processed appropriately. Ensure all company benefits are communicated and administered fairly and consistently.
- Oversee procedures and processes to maintain our compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations. Work with the Safety Committee and building maintenance team on compliance.
- May supervise associates in areas including, but not limited to, staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience2 - 4 Years Human Resources, Business Administration or
related area
