In addition to a completed application each candidate must submit a portfolio containing 3-5 recent, professional graphic design examples. The examples must be submitted in order to be considered.
A Visual Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing sophisticated visuals in support of communications and marketing efforts. This is a creative and collaborative role designing graphics and video for a variety of print and digital needs.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Design and produce a wide variety of marketing and communications materials (proposals, presentations, Statements of Qualifications, communications campaigns, ads, brochures, articles, etc.)

Work closely with communications, marketing, and business development teams to deliver graphic design and video that is aligned with messaging for various campaigns and supports firmwide and Market Sector marketing plans

Prepare graphics for awards, conferences, and special events
-
Provide graphic design for presentations of all types, including interviews, conferences, and other events

Collaborate with communications and marketing teams on social media strategy and design visual content
-
Collaborate with marketing teams to support graphic design needs for proposal responses to RFPs, RFQs, SF330s and other government forms

Collaborate with the communications and marketing teams on video strategy and development

Create video content for the firm utilizing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Premiere Rush
-
Provide graphic design for the company website, social media, intranet, etc. as needed

Collaborate with the CRM Manager to collect and organize information and images into content and image libraries, facilitating access to the information by others

Apply corporate brand standards consistently across materials

Perform any other assignments or tasks as needed or requested by management to assist in accomplishing the organization’s mission, objectives, and goals.

Occasional travel may be required.
Education, Technology, and Experience

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of graphic design or marketing experience.

Videography and photography experience a plus.

Experience in the A/E industry may be given additional consideration.

Effectively utilize current company software programs for graphic design, video development, word processing, e-mail, information management, and digital publishing, including applications in the Adobe Creative Suite. Current programs should include: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent, CRM software, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Adobe Premiere Rush, Social Media Applications (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), and email Marketing System(s) (Constant Contact, etc.)

Physical Requirements
Work is sedentary and often performed in an office setting. Work area is lighted, heated, and ventilated. This position may require extended periods of standing, sitting, as well as some repetitive movements, bending and lifting of minimal weight.
