PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive loads from pumpers; track & recall loads as necessary to ensure timely hauls and keep daily log.
- Settle any disputed run tickets.
- Ensure Lease Operators are able to thief oil and leave tolerance ticket.
- Train Lease Operators on new technology and methods
- Witness meter calibrations on LACTs
- Perform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all activities.
- Conduct other tasks as required by supervisor which are unique to the assigned geographic area.
- Ensuring all equipment is installed and calibrated, and tank strappings have been collected from purchasers and input into the system as new vessels are put into service.
- Acting as a mentor to lease operators to teach them how to work bad oil, maintain sellable oil, and ensure it is sold in a timely manner, minimizing oil inventory.
- Coordinating all fluid sampling to ensure RVP remains within tolerances.
- Ensure all personnel follow the Oil Handling SOP.
- Provides coordination and communication between purchasers, production accounting, field personnel, management, and vendors
- Resolve discrepancies between tolerance tickets and run tickets.
- Serve as a fit-tested resource to assist at H2S facilities.
- Ensure tank telemetry is maintained and can be utilized in lieu of gauges where necessary
- Ensure all H2S facilities are properly identified and communicated to the appropriate levels to ensure employees, contractors and purchasers are aware of potential hazard.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Meet and maintain eligibility to drive a company vehicle
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- General knowledge of safe oil and gas productions operation
- Working knowledge of LACT units and oil measurement protocols
- 2 to 5 years pumping or gauging experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees across the organization.
- Good understanding of SCADA and other applicable technology
- Moderate computer-based skills, to include all MS Office products
- Must be self-motivated, strong ethics, ability to work with minimum supervision, have reliable attendance and demonstrate flexible, cooperative behavior
