TELEHEALTH COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- The Telehealth Coordinator maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients receiving specialized care. This involves documenting medical histories, test results, treatment plans, and communication with external healthcare providers.
- Telehealth Coordinator acts as a liaison between the correctional facility's medical team and external healthcare providers.
They communicate medical needs, coordinate information exchange, and ensure seamless collaboration for patients' medical care.
Alongside clinical duties, Telehealth Coordinators may have administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and coordinating with external healthcare providers.
TELEHEALTH COORDINATOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of administrative / call center experience or the equivalent of education and experience.
- Medical background and knowledge is preferred
- Must possess a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including : Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
- Ability to divide attention among several tasks and prioritize those tasks.
- High School Diploma Required
