Warehouse Operator Starting at $22/hr Benefits
MicroSource is the best-in-class manufacturer of micronutrients, nitrogen stabilizers, and private label specialty fertilizer products in North America. We are currently seeking an experienced warehouse operator to assist our production and warehousing operations at our modern facility located in Shakopee, MN.
The Warehouse Operator will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and will also work closely with production personnel. The Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, and assisting production as needed. Some of the functions required, but not limited to, are:
- Promote a safe workplace and safe work practices
- Comply and follow all corporate and facility specific safety procedures and requirements
- Proficient forklift operation
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all facility personnel
- Assist in other areas of operations such as packaging, housekeeping, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidates must have the ability to maneuver throughout the facility, ability to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally, ability to climb stairs, and sit or stand for extended periods of time. Need to have the ability to work overtime; extended hours and a few Saturdays during peak production time April/May.
Requirements:
- Minimum of high school education or equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating a forklift in manufacturing environment
- Ability to physically perform the required operations in a safe and effective manner
