The incumbent must have experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment, and will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Must have strong communication skills, outstanding experience with MS Office, HRIS systems, and other computer skills. Responsibilities
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Recruits, interviews, hires and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the HR/Safety/Health departments.
- Provides construction and timely performance evaluations.
- Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes as needed (reviews applications, interviews).
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.
- Processes payroll for Salaried employees.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Human Resources required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources Management.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
