Permit Specialist

Job Description The Role The Permit Specialist obtains all alarm/electrical permits for customers in required areas. Ensuring inspections are completed when necessary. Researching state, and city requirements to ensure the company complies with all permit-related ordinances. Perform regular audits and analyses to maintain accurate compliance records. Answer incoming phone calls from various state and local government officials, Vivint customers, and members of other teams within the company. Required Skills: This job involves regular and recurring work situations of low to moderate level of complexity. The individual in this position must have excellent people skills with a high level of patience in dealing with all people they come in contact. This position operates from general guidelines and directions; the individual will receive a minimal level of supervision. Suggested Experience: Smart Home or Solar compliance experience preferred but not required. WORKING CONDITIONS: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
