VIZIO’s Device Sales team is seeking a Business Manager II to join their growing team. The successful candidate will manage inventory, pricing, and relationship with account while driving to company objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Build strategy for retailer 90 days in advance at all times, align with management team, and provide weekly updates on progress and challenges to achieving goals.
- Build ad and digital plans with retail partners 90 days in advance.
- Manage programs for the account and ensure the are executed to a high standard.
- Study retailer and business category assigned to and understand needs to support VIZIO goals with in depth understanding
- Host weekly forecasting and account management calls with proactive & thoughtful presentation that achieves goals of VIZIO as well as retailer at all points in time.
- Self driven analysis of account performance and opportunities in sales, margin, returns, etc- all data points that affect a retailers P&L
- Study market data weekly to understand where we are winning, where others are winning, trends, and where opportunities for VIZIO are.
- Understand competitive insights from retailer and in industry to provide updated forecasts and pricing recommendations to stay competitive
- Run forecast & ladder internally and with customer each week to ensure accuracy within 16 week forecast. Highlight areas of opportunity internally and with customer.
- Ensure all customer orders are in and on time.
- Work cross functionally with teams to build supporting documents to share with retailers about all access of their business- Logistics, accounting, forecasting, pricing, merchandising, marketing, customer service, and market insight teams.
- Support team lead in building story and gaining alignment to recommended assortment in store and online
- Deep understanding of VIZIO in market place, VIZIO at retailer, VIZIO as positioned against others, and competitive landscape, retailer growth and key initiatives from quarterly earning reports.
- Ensure all programs align with business objectives and timing of account.
- Maintain salesforce account updates weekly to ensure cross functional teams are working with the most updated data from our retailers
- You have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- You have 5 years of related work experience.
- You are a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment.
- You are a hard-working team player, with a “no task is too small” attitude.
- You are a creative problem-solver who digs into root causes analytically, instead of relying on intuition.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to tell complex stories simply and adapt to questions, rather than just presenting information
- You have strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously to drive outcomes within often tight deadlines or quick turnaround times
- You possess a high attention to detail.
- You have expertise with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- You have experience as a sales person managing major retail accounts, sales analyst, sales operations.
