Vizmeg Landscape, Inc. is one of the leading Landscape Construction companies in Northeast Ohio and is currently hiring for a Junior Construction Project Manager/Estimator to assist in managing our increasing project load. We have built a solid reputation in North East Ohio over the last 30 years and our business is still growing. We are a supportive office atmosphere that values excellence as well as efficiency. Typical projects include public parks, sports fields, large landscape installations and small site construction projects. Responsibilities

Assist Senior Project Managers in the commercial bid process by:

• Obtaining and organizing bid documents for projects
• Understanding contracts/scopes of work
• Performing material take-offs and obtaining material prices from vendors
• Soliciting and analyzing proposals from sub-contractors
• Assist in project estimating and pricing
• Managing the submittals process for sold projects
• Assist in preparing change orders, ordering materials, coordinating with clients, general contractors and landscape architects
• Assist in invoicing and job costing for projects
• Keep project files and documentation organized and accessible to senior project managers and field operations manager

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Landscape Architecture preferred
• 2-5 years of work experience in a construction project management role (landscape experience preferred but not required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, In-Site or other earthwork program
• Strong work ethic
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Strong analytical skills necessary to coordinate and manage several projects at once
