Summary
The Operations Director is a functional leader and problem solver, working with all departments and WPPatCP partners to identify and solve systemic issues and optimize ways of working to improve performance. They are also the guardian of the agency and client’s scope of work and MSA, ensuring both the agency and client are protected; and teams are properly skilled and deployed to meet the client team needs. They also provide deep and meaningful analysis and evaluation of agency operations that is easily understandable and digestible.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and leadership to Operations & Delivery team.
- Be a trusted partner to the Executive Leader and collaborate with leaders on the team to drive digital transformation goals that may include the designing and implementing of operating model(s)
- Understand client’s business goals to further develop operations on agency side to meet those business needs.
- Partner with Executive Director and Finance Director to create monthly scope & financial status reports for internal and client meetings
- Break down complex sets of data into relevant insights for client teams and executive leadership
- Support and drive adoption of Agency Management Platform with WPPatCP partners
- Provide support and inputs to Agency Management Platform maintenance and/or enhancements
- Generate job numbers and grant appropriate access in Agency Management Platform
- Lead, manage and develop direct reports
- Consolidate and streamline repeatable tasks to develop process efficiencies
- Resource to Revenue Management
- Continuously develop expertise in all internal systems
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field
- 5-7 years relevant experience in advertising or marketing
- Solid understanding of how business financials work
- Advanced understanding of internal systems and Business Intelligence Software. i.e Tableau, Power BI
- Experience leading a global team
