The Creative Director will lead our creative efforts in the cybersecurity industry. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for driving the creative direction and ensuring the development of high-quality and impactful marketing materials, visual assets, and brand experiences that effectively communicate our cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in graphic design, brand development, and creative strategy, with a passion for cybersecurity.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
- The primary objective of this position is to build and execute a consistent VMware Carbon Black brand.
- Deliver innovative and compelling creative solutions aligned with our cybersecurity brand.
- Define and implement the creative direction, brand guidelines, and visual identity for our cybersecurity solutions across various channels, including digital, print, social media, events, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand business objectives, target audience, and messaging, and translate them into creative strategies and visual concepts.
- Oversee the creation and production of marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, presentations, infographics, videos, social media assets, print collateral, and other promotional materials.
- Ensure the consistency and quality of the brand's visual elements and messaging across all touchpoints and channels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in design, branding, and cybersecurity, and integrate them into our creative strategies.
- Provide strategic and creative guidance to internal teams and external agencies, including art direction, feedback, and revisions to ensure the delivery of exceptional creative work.
- Manage creative projects from concept to completion, including project timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns, initiatives, and experiences that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with brand guidelines across all marketing and communication materials.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including branding, graphic design, digital campaigns, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual composition.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate marketing objectives into creative solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate creative concepts and ideas.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for cybersecurity and a keen interest in staying updated with industry trends and developments.
