Business Summary:

The charter of the VMware Livefire Solutions Team (LS) within Readiness, Assessment, Certification, and Enablement (RACE) is to incubate the next generation of deep technical architectures, solutions and services by working with Product Development and Field/Partner Sales & Delivery organizations. VMware’s Livefire Team is responsible for building and delivering the highest level of solutions based technical enablement to support our field, partners and customers. The Livefire Team addresses two of VMware’s fundamental technology thrusts: Hybrid Cloud and the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC).

Job Role and Responsibilities:

As the Livefire Program Coordinator, you would be responsible for providing logistical and execution support to the program and other technical enablement delivery programs. This includes general day-to-day support in the coordination, delivery and tracking of Livefire Programs and initiatives worldwide. The applicant will have a validated background in either technical enablement coordination or leading large technical events.

  • Lead Livefire logistics and coordination worldwide under the direction of LS Management
  • Collaborate with regional enablement staff as needed globally
  • Creation of Livefire courses/classes/labs in LMS.
  • Lead field and partner registration in LMS
  • Maintain and distribute Instructor, “Book your Travel” and “Go Bag”
  • Develop and maintain field and partners attendee surveys
  • Support student registration issues
  • Support OneCloud issues, liaising with instructors and Cloud Tenant Ops team
  • Schedule and Lead Pre & Post class Instructor meetings
  • Livefire class roster completions and closing.
  • Work with Livefire Management on coordination of architect schedules
  • Tabulation, Management and Distribution of Livefire critical metrics and Key Metrics/Success Criteria
  • Utilize appropriate technologies, tools and systems to deliver information and resources at the right time and place as needed.
  • Refine and enhance processes to improve quality and success of Livefire programs
  • Ability to work late nights and or weekends as needed to meet global obligations around class delivery
  • Some travel maybe required

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT/Technical or business discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of Technical Enablement Experience
  • History of success in coordinating training initiatives, product launches, leadership development, curriculum design, and training evaluation.
  • Strong analytical thinker with track record of delivering high-quality work in a structured, well-adapted manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
  • Ability to meet established deadlines and quality standards and to deliver fully on commitments.
  • A superb communicator, both written and verbal
  • Validated experience working with a diverse team with limited supervision to deliver results.
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • High degree of accountability and integrity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Enterprise level, curriculum management experience.
  • Experience with SABA and or MyLearn Learning Management Systems or equivalent
  • Knowledge of VMware Enterprise product Portfolio
  • Experience with Technical Pre-Sales or Post Sales Consulting Methodology
  • Professional Experience in consulting, change management, learning & development
  • Ability to design basic training plans and execution strategies. With experience in assessment and diagnostic skills. Development of technical training program with facilitation background.
  • Experience with Smartsheets
