What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Inspector (Civil) position at VN Engineers, Inc.?
VN Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Inspector for a project located in located on I-95 in Norwalk CT.
Responsibilities will include:
- Inspect work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications
- Contract administration
- Report daily progress and prepare daily work reports
- Track and document quality and quantities of work performed
- Report and document construction problems and challenges in the field
- Other oversight responsibilities as assigned
Candidates must have at least two years of related experience (CTDOT experience preferred), along with a NICET II certification or Bachelor s degree in Engineering. . Candidates must be reliable and have strong written and oral communication skills. Candidate must also be able to work nights and weekends when required.
